Breakfast is served daily from 07:30 to 10:00 - an easy, unhurried start to the day. Begin with a continental selection, followed by a choice of hot dishes from our à la carte menu, each prepared with care. Deluxe Coffee, roasted right here in the Mother Citys, is the perfect way to ease into a Cape Town morning.

For guests heading out early - whether for a day trip or the airport - we’re happy to prepare a complimentary breakfast to go, ready to enjoy on the way. We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice.

Light Bites & Drinks by the Pool

A small, considered menu is available daily from 12:00 to 15:00, perfect for something light by the pool or on the terrace.

Complimentary Tea

Each afternoon from 16:00 to 19:00, complimentary tea is available in the breakfast room, with a small selection of teas and rusks - a much-loved South African tradition

Evening Drinks, Self-Serve

As the day drifts into evening, the honesty bar is available from 16:00 to 19:00. Pour a glass of Chenin Blanc or a Cape Town gin and tonic, and unwind on the veranda.

We had 2 amazing days in Cape Town and our stay at Cape Diem Lodge was beyond all our expectations. We were warmly welcomed and we got a lot of travel and hiking tips from the host. Breakfast was amazing. Calm and relaxing lodge and area of town. Still close enough for walks down to Waterfront or other parts of town.

Great spot, modern clean room with a lovely garden and views of the mountains. Fantastic breakfast and very friendly staff. Bianca was very helpful and made us feel at home. Location is perfect, quick walk to V&A waterfront and lots of restaurants within 2 minutes. Safe surroundings.

Friendly and welcoming staff! I had a lovely room with doors leading to the pool side. They did a great job with renovations and small details since I've been here couple years ago.
